The supportive Leki Makalu Lite AS (antishock) is your comfortable and stable companion on mountain adventures! With its thin tube diameter, the Lite version has a weight of only 258 g. Just like its big brother, the Makalu Lite AS features the new Aergon Air grip. This latest generation of grip is specially adapted for trekking and has been redesigned for comfort and control and improved in countless ways. Hollow-core technology combines lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces. The grip head is fully rubberized for maximum grip and control when going downhill. Optimal guidance of the pole helps the inclined angle and thus contributes to safety on the mountain.

Speed lock plus - Extremely fast adjustment of the pole length. 35% lighter, 27% smaller and the same holding force as SL1. The TÜV Süd-certified adjustment system works with an external clamp that enables easy adjustment and offers maximum holding power.
DSS Antishock - Reduction of the peak impacts by approx. 40% thus protecting muscles, joints and ligaments.
Handle extension - Handle extension for easy gripping on steep terrain or traverses.
Aluminium HTS - Super stable, extremely robust and very durable.
Trekking basket 2.0 - Compatible with every Flextip. Effective protection against sinking into snow and mud can be easily changed by hand.
