Carrot Electrostatic Surfactant FF (0°C do -8°C) Liquid Wax
- Description

Details
Carrot Electrostatic Surfactant FF Liquid Wax (fluorine-free) is specially developed to overcome the static friction found in cold, dry, and aggressive snow. It has a unique ultra-fine microcrystalline structure that provides superior protective qualities to the base. It ensures friction-free glide. Also ideal for ice and dirt on glaciers, indoors, and races.
- Quantity: 250 ml
- Snow temp.: 0°C / -8 °C (32° F / 18°F)
To apply a liquid wax, first make sure that the ski base is clean and dry. Apply a thin even layer, you can use the Carrot Combo Cork/Fleece, a sponge, or a tissue. Let the skis sit until the wax is dry, usually a few minutes. Then rub with a cork or roto cork. Nylon brushing would be the final step.
Following the ban imposed by the FIS on all fluorinated products, CARROT has created a range of fluorine-free products called SURFACTANT.
SURFACTANT waxes are the last frontier and currently the world's top anti-friction additives superior to fluoride. It is a nanotechnological material that does not slide on the base of the skis like the fluorinated products but adheres where there is friction creating a very thin and very smooth layer. It has the lowest coefficient of friction of all ceramic materials and remains constant with the presence or absence of water and at changes in temperature. This material can be used in the form of powder, liquid/spray/paste/gel, or solid combined with paraffin waxes to modify or improve their properties. It has no cons, but the only benefit it improves sliding and acceleration while maintaining these characteristics for a long time. Our product is classified as non-hazardous and non-toxic.

Carrot Liquid wax HOLY MOLY, -8°C to -25°C
Carrot Liquid wax Holy Moly - With Fluor (Cold) FF is great when it gets bitter cold and the low amount of humidity makes the air and snow very dry. Works great on indoor artificial snow. High resistance to abrasion, maintains a shiny base. Repels water molecules to give increased glide and faster speeds, especially in wet snow conditions. Also used as an overlay to other waxes and for second-run races. It is self-replacing supramolecular nanotechnology wax.
