Uvex Invictus MIPS is Ultimate high-tech ski helmet for uncompromising protection. Featuring the innovative +technology, the outer shell of the invictus is made of an extremely impact-resistant, super-lightweight thermoplastic as well as a shock-absorbing inner shell to guarantee a high level of comfort and maximum safety. The FIS-certified race helmet is optionally fitted with a detachable chin guard (sold separately).

The MIPS system itself is a low friction layer that sits between the EPS foam and the helmet liner, and allows for a sliding motion of 10 to 15mm in all directions. This aims to reduce the transfer of rotational motion onto your brain. While linear, or straight-on, impacts can lead to skull fractures and bleeding, MIPS says studies show rotational impacts can lead to concussion and serious traumatic brain injuries. MIPS works by using a moving layer to prevent rotational impacts from passing onto your brain.
Monomatic: The uvex monomatic comfort lock can be opened and closed with one hand.
FAS: Fast Adapting System webbing can be easily and continuously tailored to your exact head shape. The helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and the webbing straps are always in the best position.
Goggle holder: Uvex helmets provide greater comfort even in the smallest details: the integrated goggle holder ensures that the goggles are firmly held on the helmet in any situation.
Removable lining: The uvex lining absorbs excess moisture, is anti-allergenic, and can be easily removed for cleaning.
Vent system: Specially designed ventilation ducts suck in the fresh air and remove warm air. This prevents the unpleasant accumulation of heat inside the helmet.
+technology: Material for hardshell technology. Innovative, extremely light, safe, and 100 % recyclable polymer. It provides 16 % higher impact resistance than required by the standard, it is 15 % lighter than ABS material with other hardshell helmets.
A size 56(M) helmet corresponds to 56cm circumference, a size 58(L) is 58cm, etc….
Remember that every head is different, so the tape measurement may not be as accurate as actually trying the helmet on. The shape of your head is not a perfect circle!
